Čechy pod Kosířem is a municipality and village in Prostějov District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,000 inhabitants.
Čechy pod Kosířem lies at the foot of the Velký Kosíř hill (442 m), approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) north-west of Prostějov, 17 km (11 mi) west of Olomouc, and 197 km (122 mi) east of Prague.It was first mentioned in 1131.
