Rychnov nad Kněžnou (Czech pronunciation: [ˈrɪxnof ˈnat kɲɛʒnou]; German: Reichenau an der Knieschna) is a town in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. It has around 11,000 inhabitants. It lies about 32 km (20 mi) to the west from Hradec Králové.

Podbřezí won an award for "Village of the year 2006" in the Rychnov nad Kněžnou region and mayor Antonín Novotný won an award for "Mayor of the year 2013".
