Rocket was a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy when they traveled to the Blue Area of the Moon to retrieve the Eye of the Watcher. Here they met Captain America and due to a misunderstanding the group fought with Rocket attempting to blow her up. During the battle, Star-Lord heard her codename and realized she probably wasn't a bad guy but Drax launched her out of the temple before Star-Lord could stop him. Upon her return, she and Star-Lord grabbed for the eye but everyone got a glimpse of destructive future and decided to team up to help save it.

Aardwolf was the leader of the Hyena Clan when they set out to steal from the Wakandan Reservoir. When they teleported in the were met by the students of Future Foundation who were on vacation at the time. Aardwolf spotted Dragon Man hiding near by and opened fire. The young heroes banded together and were able to use the teleporter to send them direct to Central Wakanda were they were met by the Black Panther and a large group of Dora Milaje.
