Rocket was a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy when they traveled to the Blue Area of the Moon to retrieve the Eye of the Watcher. Here they met Captain America and due to a misunderstanding the group fought with Rocket attempting to blow her up. During the battle, Star-Lord heard her codename and realized she probably wasn't a bad guy but Drax launched her out of the temple before Star-Lord could stop him. Upon her return, she and Star-Lord grabbed for the eye but everyone got a glimpse of destructive future and decided to team up to help save it.
In the year 4000 A.D., Senator Brane is the robot A-1 Sauce, Magnut's childhood mentor. He trained Magnut to destroy all the good robots so he could rule Earth unchallenged.
