27 and his "brother" 26 are wild boars experimented on by Bruce Banner while he was separated from the Hulk. Enhanced Senses: 26 and 27 could track the Hulk by smell to the Moloids community he was living.[2]

Later when Doctor Strange and Silver Surfer arrived on Titan to find Mar-Vell, Mentor was nursing a sick Eros who had fallen ill to infectious condition caused by saving Mar-Vell's life.
