Thomas George Cassell (born 23 June 1993), better known by his online alias Syndicate, is an English YouTuber, video game streamer, and vlogger known for his YouTube video content and Twitch live streams. In 2010, he registered his YouTube channel TheSyndicateProject and rapidly built a following posting gaming–commentary videos. He later registered his Twitch channel and, on 17 August 2014, he became the first user on the site to reach 1 million followers. Cassell also posts daily vlogs on his second YouTube channel, Life of Tom Cassell started his YouTube channel, TheSyndicateProject, on 3 September 2010. The channel was originally built on Halo and Modern Warfare 2 let's play videos, but came to prominence with the release of the Call of Duty: Black Ops "zombies" mode and his subsequent videos featuring the gamemode on his channel, and further grew due to the series "The Minecraft Project". Cassell also operates a second channel, "Life Of Tom" previously known as SyndicateCentral, which consists primarily of vlogs. Cassell runs a Twitch channel which, as of August 2017 had over 2.4 million followers, making it the most followed channel on the website at the time. In November 2014, Cassell, along with fellow YouTuber Adam Montoya (known online as SeaNanners) and in cooperation with media company 3BlackDot, launched a multi-channel network, Jetpak, aiming for a more fair payment model for the revenue made. In February 2016, Cassell announced that he will be the voice of Loki in the mobile app game Marvel Avengers Academy.

Thomas James Ridgewell (born 27 June 1990), known online as TomSka, is a British YouTuber, filmmaker, actor, comedian, vlogger, and musician, as well as founder of TurboPunch Ltd. He is known for writing, directing, and starring his live-action sketch comedy YouTube videos and animated web-series such as asdfmovie, Eddsworld, and Crash Zoom. As of November 2020, his YouTube channel has over 6.69 million subscribers and his videos have garnered over 1.7 billion views. As a professional YouTuber, Ridgewell earns money from revenue on his videos on the website. He has been discussed and interviewed in relation to this, especially when the medium of online video was in its infancy. He has appeared as a guest on the BBC's The One Show and created short films for Comedy Central. In October 2007, Ridgewell created a secondary channel called TomSka & Friends (formerly known as DarkSquidge). As of September 2020, the channel has over 1 million subscribers and over 144 million views. While his main channel consists of sketch comedy and animations, The TomSka & Friends channel shows behind the scenes footage of TomSka related projects and videos, as well as vlogging. Ridgewell also engages in social commentary, covering a range of topics such as mental health, sexual health, and body positivity. From April 2016 to February 2018, he uploaded weekly vlogs to the channel in a series named Last Week. In 2008, Ridgewell released the first episode of asdfmovie, an animated sketch comedy series featuring short clips of minimalist characters in surreal and occasionally darkly humorous situations. The song "Beep Beep I'm a Sheep" by Canadian musician LilDeuceDeuce with vocals by Ridgewell and Gabriel Brown, released alongside asdfmovie10, was featured in the dance rhythm game Just Dance 2018. A book based on the asdfmovie series, titled Art is Dead: the asdf book, was written by Ridgewell, illustrated by Matt Ley, and published by Little Brown on 22 October 2015. A second book titled Sam Kills Christmas, written by Ridgewell and Eddie Bowley with illustrations by Dorina Herdewijn, was released on 8 November 2018.
