Charlotte Katakuri is the second son and third child of the Charlotte Family[3] and the elder triplet brother of Daifuku and Oven.[5] He is also one of the Three Sweet Commanders of the Big Mom Pirates[4] and serves as Totto Land's Minister of Flour (粉大臣 Kona Daijin?), governing over Komugi Island.[5] Due to his actions and role, he is the secondary antagonist in the second half of the Whole Cake Island Arc. Katakuri is an extremely tall, large, and muscular man with short spiky crimson hair and two symmetric scars on both sides of his face. He stands at nearly three times Luffy's height, and is slightly taller than his younger triplet brothers, Daifuku and Oven, who are incredibly tall themselves. He has long legs, with his thighs being equally as long as his lower limbs.[3] His mouth, which is usually covered up, contains extremely pelican eel-like sharp teeth and is capable of expanding to an enormous size.

Marco is the former first division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. He ate a Mythical Zoan type Devil Fruit which allows him to transform into a phoenix at will. After his captain's death, Marco assumed leadership of the Whitebeard Pirates until the crew's disbandment following the Payback War. Since said war during the two-year timeskip, Marco works as a doctor at Whitebeard's home village, Sphinx. Little is known about Marco's past , but he has been around for various important events. Marco appears to be one of the older members of the Whitebeard Pirates, as he is seen when Shiki first visits Whitebeard , and he is the 1st divison commander . He was the first to befriend Portgas D Ace , and talk him into joining them , even protesting Ace leaving to find Teach. Marco was also present when Shanks arrived to talk to Whitebeard, and later fought at Marineford to save Ace. After the death of Whitebeard, Marco was the highest ranked member of the crew . As the former commander of the 1st division of the Whitebeard Pirates, Marco is a very strong and powerful individual, as he demonstrated in the war that he was on a similar level of fighting as the three admirals. He was fully capable of fighting admirals Kizaru, Aokiji, and Akainu while holding his own.
