MARK HOYLE
Mark Ian Hoyle (born 12 April 1987), commonly known by his Internet pseudonym LadBaby, is a British graphic designer, lifestyle blogger, and YouTuber from Nottingham, England. His video content focuses on his experiences as a father, and is filmed with his wife, Roxanne Zee Hoyle. The couple had the Christmas number one on the UK Singles Chart in 2018, 2019 and 2020 with the novelty songs "We Built This City", "I Love Sausage Rolls" and "Don't Stop Me Eatin'" respectively. This made them only the third act to secure three consecutive Christmas number ones, following The Beatles and the Spice Girls. Mark Hoyle married Roxanne Hoyle (née Messenger) in May 2015 after eloping to Las Vegas; they have two sons, Phoenix Forest and Kobe Notts, born in 2016 and 2018, respectively. The family currently reside in Nottingham, England. While Roxanne was pregnant with their first son, Mark created a blog named "LadBaby" (reflecting the fact that he "was a lad and was having a baby"), in which he documented his day-to-day life as a first-time parent. As of December 2020, the LadBaby YouTube channel, Facebook page and Instagram account have over 1 million subscribers, 4.9 million followers and 1.3 million followers respectively. LadBaby's video content, uploaded onto their Facebook and YouTube accounts, consists mainly of vlogs in which Mark demonstrates life hacks which help him to save money when faced with potentially costly parenting tasks. In June 2017, one vlog, in which he bought a toolbox from a hardware store to serve as a lunchbox for his son, went viral. Other creations by him include a baby walker made of pipes, a makeshift paddling pool made from a skip and a makeshift baby gate made from half of a door. Other viral videos include two uploaded in February 2018, when the Hoyle couple had each other's cars wrapped with love heart stickers and photographs of their faces. LadBaby is also known for the catchphrase "Yes, mate!", which is often said in the videos. In October 2018, the Hoyles launched a spin-off YouTube channel, LadBaby & Sons, in which their sons take a more active role. The channel generally focuses on toy testing and kid-friendly social media challenges.

MARK MEECHAN
Mark Meechan (born 19 October 1987) is a Scottish YouTuber and former UK Independence Party candidate for the European Parliament. He uses the online name Count Dankula. Meechan received press coverage when he posted a prank video showing him teaching his girlfriend's dog how to raise its paw in the manner of a Nazi salute, and to react to the phrase "Do you wanna gas the Jews?" Meechan was arrested and convicted of being "grossly offensive" under the Communications Act 2003, following a trial in March 2018. The arrest generated controversy and discussions about free speech. In April 2018, Meechan was fined £800. Meechan stated he would not pay the fine, and instead donated £800 to the Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity. In March 2019, the money was seized from his bank account by an arrestment order. In April 2016, Meechan posted a video on YouTube of his girlfriend's pet pug Buddha titled "M8 Yer Dugs A Nazi". At the start of the video, he says: "My girlfriend is always ranting and raving about how cute and adorable her wee dog is so I thought I would turn him into the least cute thing I could think of, which is a Nazi." In the video, the dog, prompted by the command "Sieg Heil", raises his right paw in the manner of a Nazi salute, watches a speech by Adolf Hitler, and responds immediately when Meechan asks if he wants to "gas the Jews". It ends with images of Hitler and Buddha depicted with a toothbrush moustache similar to Hitler's. Meechan was arrested on suspicion of breaching the Communications Act 2003. On 19 March 2018, Meechan was convicted of breaching the act by Sheriff Derek O'Carroll at Airdrie Sheriff Court. The court ruled that Meechan's claim that the video was a joke intended for his girlfriend "lacked credibility" as Meechan's girlfriend did not subscribe to the YouTube channel to which the video was posted. On 23 April 2018, Meechan was sentenced to a fine of £800, with no prison sentence.
