"Funniest Comedian RUBY WAX vs DAMON WAYANS"
RUBY WAX
Ruby Wax OBE (née Wachs; born 19 April 1953) is an American-British actress, comedian, writer, mental health campaigner, and lecturer. A classically trained actress, Wax starred in the sitcom Girls on Top (1985–1986), and came to prominence as a comic interviewer, playing up to British perceptions of the strident American style, in shows including The Full Wax (1991–1994), Ruby Wax Meets... (1994–1998), Ruby (1997–2000), and The Ruby Wax Show (2002). She went on to become the script editor for the BBC sitcom Absolutely Fabulous (1992–2012), also appearing in two episodes. Wax studied psychology at the University of California but did not complete her degree. In 2013, she gained a master's degree in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy from Kellogg College, Oxford. Wax was appointed an honorary Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2015 Special Honours for services to mental health. Her memoirs, How Do You Want Me? (2002) and Sane New World (2013), reached number one on the Sunday Times bestseller list. Wax was born Ruby Wachs and raised in Evanston, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Berthe Wachs (née Goldmann.) Her parents were Austrian Jews who left Austria in 1938 because of the Nazi threat. Her father was a sausage manufacturer and her mother qualified as an accountant. Once settled in Chicago, Wax's father changed the way that the family surname was spelled from Wachs to Wax. Wax herself majored in psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, but left after a year without completing her degree.

DAMON WAYANS
Damon Kyle Wayans Sr. (/ˈdeɪmən ˈweɪ.ənz/; born September 4, 1960) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and producer, and member of the Wayans family of entertainers. Wayans performed as a comedian and actor throughout the 1980s, including a year long stint on the sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live. His true breakthrough, however, came as writer and performer on FOX's sketch comedy show In Living Color from 1990 to 1992 and his TV series Damon (1998). Since then, he has starred in a number of films and television shows, some of which he has co-produced or co-written, including Beverly Hills Cop, The Last Boy Scout, and Major Payne and the sitcom My Wife and Kids. From 2016 to 2019, he starred as Roger Murtaugh in the television series Lethal Weapon. Damon started doing stand-up comedy in 1982. His earliest film appearance was a brief cameo as an effeminate hotel employee in the Eddie Murphy film of 1984, Beverly Hills Cop. From 1985 to 1986, he appeared on Saturday Night Live as a featured performer, before getting fired after just eleven episodes for improvising during a live sketch, playing his character as a flamboyant gay cop instead of a straight cop. (Damon continued this sketch character in his family created show In Living Color on Fox Television, in 1990, as the flamboyant gay character, Blaine Edwards, an obvious hat tip to Blake Edwards of movies starring The Pink Panther.) Wayans later claimed that he wanted to be fired due to lack of creative freedom and screen time. Wayans further explained that Lorne Michaels did not want Wayans to do too much too soon and begin drawing comparisons to Eddie Murphy who had just left the show. He also appeared in the syndicated television series Solid Gold during the 1980s as a comedian.
