MIKE WARD
Michael John Ward (born September 14, 1973) is a Canadian comedian. He performs comedy in both French and English. Mike Ward has appeared on television doing stand-up in 20 countries; airing throughout Europe, Africa, Australia and North America. He is a frequent guest of the Anthony Cumia Show podcast. Mike hosts two podcasts : 2 Drink Minimum with comedian Pantelis on Compound Media and Mike Ward sous écoute. Between 2010 and 2013, Ward performed a comedy routine about Jérémy Gabriel, a young disabled singer with Treacher Collins syndrome. Ward mocked Gabriel's appearance, his illness and his abilities as a singer and joked about trying to kill him by drowning him. Gabriel was repeatedly bullied at school and became suicidal. Gabriel's parents filed a complaint with the Quebec human rights commission, and the commission brought the case in front of Quebec's Human Rights Tribunal seeking $80,000 in damages from Ward. On July 20, 2016, he was ordered to pay $42,000 ($35,000 to Jérémy, $7,000 to his mother). Ward's lawyer, Julius Grey, appealed the decision, and the decision was upheld by appellate court judges on November 28, 2019, but dropped the fee initially ordered to be paid to the mother.

Eric Alexander Wareheim (/ˈwɛərhaɪm/; born April 7, 1976) is an American actor, comedian, writer, director, and musician. He is one half of the comedy duo Tim & Eric, alongside Tim Heidecker. The duo created the television shows Tom Goes to the Mayor, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule, Tim and Eric's Bedtime Stories, and Beef House. He had a recurring role on the Netflix series Master of None. Wareheim and Heidecker are the creators, writers, and stars of Tom Goes to the Mayor, a limited animation that was on the Adult Swim programming block on Cartoon Network. Wareheim and Heidecker had mailed copies of an early version of the show to comedian Bob Odenkirk, who agreed to take on the project as the executive producer of the series and sold it to Cartoon Network. The Tim and Eric name reached a broader audience with the release of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! which premiered on February 11, 2007. The show is a mix of "live action, sketch, animation, emotions, phone calls, love, etc." according to their website. The creators have described the show as the "nightmare version of television". On May 2, 2010 the "Man Milk" episode of "Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!" wrapped Season 5 of the show. Though this would be the last serial content for "Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!" there was an hour-long holiday program titled "Chrimbus Special" that gave fans a last glimpse at the TV program. It was the second show Wareheim both produced and starred in which aired during Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block.
