Samir Khullar (Punjabi: ਸਮੀਰ ਖੁੱਲਰ; Hindi: समीर खुल्लर; born 29 February 1976), better known as Sugar Sammy, is a Canadian comedian, actor, writer and producer from Montreal, Quebec. His comedy routines are delivered in a mixture of English, French, Punjabi and Hindi. Samir Khullar was born February 29, 1976 and raised in the Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood of Montreal, Quebec; he worked in his parents' convenience store. At the age of eight he saw Eddie Murphy's 1983 comedy special Delirious, and credits the experience as being a defining moment in his life. From then on, he knew what he wanted to do. Khullar also names Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle as comedic influences. After early stage experiences in high school École Secondaire La Voie, Khullar attended Marianopolis College while occasionally performing at open-mic nights at the Comedy Works and the Comedy Zone. Continuing to work for recognition on the comedy circuit, he attended McGill University in cultural studies while working as a nightclub promoter. There he received what would later become his stage name, after letting many women into parties for free. Khullar blends polished material with improvisational comedy and interacts with audience members sitting near the stage. The New York Times called him "a fearless comic with a talent for provoking both laughter and outrage". The Hollywood Reporter selected him as one of their "Ten Comics to Watch".

Angus Sampson (born 1978 or 1979) is an Australian actor, director, producer and writer. He stars in the Insidious film series, the comedy crime drama film The Mule (2014), the action film Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), and the supernatural horror film Winchester (2018). Sampson was born in Sydney, Australia, and was educated at Trinity Grammar School in Summer Hill and at The Armidale School in northern New South Wales. He graduated from the AWARD School in 2002. Sampson has had a diverse and distinct array of film roles, including Mad Max: Fury Road, Now Add Honey, Insidious, Insidious: Chapter 2, Insidious: Chapter 3, Insidious: The Last Key, The Mule, Summer Coda, Darkness Falls, Razor Eaters, Kokoda, and Footy Legends. He was the suit actor for the role of Bull in Spike Jonze's Where The Wild Things Are. Sampson was a special guest juror at the 2006 Melbourne International Film Festival, and host of the 2010 IF Awards, broadcast on SBS TV. In 2010 Sampson helped his friend Leigh Whannell develop an Australian "paranormal chiller" called Insidious. Saw horror-writer Whannell and Sampson are both former Recovery presenters. Insidious (previously called Vultures) first screened in September 2010, with Whannell and Sampson playing "comical low-tech paranormal investigators" Specks and Tucker, roles they have reprised in the film's three follow-ups.
