Ryan John McPartlin[1] (born July 3, 1975) is an American actor, known for his role as Devon "Captain Awesome" Woodcomb on the NBC action-comedy series Chuck. McPartlin was born in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Steve and Lois McPartlin. He was raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago),[2] and attended Glenbard South High School. McPartlin graduated with a degree in speech communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. He was a member of the Illinois Fighting Illini football team as a walk-on tight end from 1993-95. McPartlin's older brother, Chris, was also a member of the Illinois football team, earning a varsity letter as a linebacker in 1994.[3] After six months in Australia and New Zealand, McPartlin moved to Southern California to pursue acting as a career. McPartlin also played Devon "Captain Awesome" Woodcomb on NBC's Chuck from 2007 to 2012. In mid-2011, McPartlin appeared in Sugarland's music video "Stuck Like Glue" as a man being stalked and abducted by lead singer Jennifer Nettles. McPartlin appears in commercials for Kate Walsh's perfume "Boyfriend". In March 2012, McPartlin began working with the website LiveLifeLocal to help promote active lifestyles and is filming a series of videos for the site. In 2014, he portrayed the recurring roles of police detective Dwayne Freeman on Mystery Girls and Billy the fireman on Bad Judge.

Timothy Meadows (born February 5, 1961) is an American actor and comedian, who is one of the longest-running cast members on Saturday Night Live, where he appeared for ten seasons and for which he received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1993. He played main character John Glascott on the ABC sitcom Schooled for its two-season run after playing the same character in a recurring role for six seasons on The Goldbergs. Meadows was born in Highland Park, Michigan, the son of Mardell, a nurse's assistant, and Lathon Meadows, a janitor.[1] He attended Pershing High School in Detroit and studied television and radio broadcasting at Wayne State University. Meadows began performing improvisational comedy at the Soup Kitchen Saloon.[2] Meadows' start in show business was in Chicago as a member of The Second City comedy troupe alongside future star Chris Farley. In 1991, Meadows landed a spot on Saturday Night Live and would go on to become a longtime cast member, appearing on the program until 2000. (Meadows was on the show for ten seasons; this was the record for the longest tenure on the show until it was surpassed by Darrell Hammond in 2005, whose record was also surpassed by Kenan Thompson in 2017.) Meadows' lengthy tenure on the show was used as a gag in three monologues when former cast members Phil Hartman and Mike Myers returned to the show to host, and when Alec Baldwin hosted for his twelfth time.
