Howard Michael Mandel (born November 29, 1955) is a Canadian comedian, television personality, screenwriter, actor, producer, director, entrepreneur, game show host and author. He hosted the CNBC (originally NBC) game show Deal or No Deal, as well as the show's daytime and Canadian-English counterparts. Mandel voiced the pop culture character Gizmo in the 1984 film Gremlins and the 1990 sequel Gremlins 2: The New Batch. In 1987, Mandel starred alongside Amy Steel in the comedy film Walk Like a Man. From 1982 to 1988, Mandel played rowdy ER intern Dr. Wayne Fiscus on the NBC medical drama St. Elsewhere. He also created, voiced, and starred in the FOX children's cartoon Bobby's World, and he has been a judge on NBC's America's Got Talent since 2010. Mandel has been married to Terry (Soil) Mandel since 1980. Together they have three children: daughters Jackie and Riley and son Alex. On September 4, 2008, Mandel received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Comedy Central listed him as #82 on their list of the 100 greatest stand-up comedians of all time. Mandel received a star on Canada's Walk of Fame in Toronto. The induction ceremony was held on September 12, 2009. He is the third game show host to be inducted, the first being Monty Hall in 2002 and the second being Alex Trebek in 2006. In October 2008, Mandel revealed that he has attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) on the morning talk show Live with Regis and Kelly, adding that he is currently working to raise adult ADHD awareness among the general public. On January 12, 2009, Mandel was reportedly sent to St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto suffering from chest pains and what was reported as a minor heart attack. According to various news reports, he was experiencing an irregular heartbeat, but the reports were later revealed as inaccurate. He was later discharged. Mandel has written and published an in-depth autobiography which details his life with OCD, ADHD, and comedy called Here's the Deal: Don't Touch Me.

Aasif Hakim Mandviwala (born March 5, 1966), known professionally as Aasif Mandvi (/ˈɑːsɪf ˈmɑːndvi/, AH-sif MAHND-vee), is a British-American actor and comedian of Indian descent. He began appearing as an occasional contributing correspondent on The Daily Show on August 9, 2006. On March 12, 2007, he was promoted to a regular correspondent. He is the lead actor, co-writer and producer of the web series Halal in the Family, which premiered on Funny or Die in 2015, and an actor, writer and co-producer of the HBO comedy series The Brink. Mandvi is also the author of the book No Land's Man. In June 2019, he was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters Degree by the Macaulay Honors College after delivering the commencement speech that year.He currently appears in the role of Ben Shakir in the CBS psychological drama Evil written and created by Robert and Michelle King. Mandvi was born in Bombay (now Mumbai), Maharashtra, India, to a Dawoodi Bohra Muslim family. His family moved to England, settling, when he was a year old, in the West Yorkshire city of Bradford. His father, Hakim, who had originally come to work in textiles research at Bradford University, later ran a corner shop, while his mother, Fatima, was a nurse. Mandvi attended the independent Woodhouse Grove School, and he identifies himself as a "working-class kid from Bradford". In the early 80s, his father grew frustrated with Margaret Thatcher's Britain and moved his family to Tampa, Florida, United States when Mandvi was 16.
