Josie Long (born 17 April 1982) is a British comedian. She started performing as a stand-up at the age of 14 and won the BBC New Comedy Awards at 17. In 2006, she won the If.comeddies Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for her show Kindness and Exuberance. She has been nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show three times. In 2012, Long and director Doug King produced two short comedy films in Glasgow called Let's Go Swimming and Romance and Adventure, which were nominated for a BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award. Long was born in Sidcup and spent her early life in Orpington, London, where she attended Newstead Wood School for Girls. She began performing stand-up comedy at 14, winning the BBC New Comedy Awards at the age of 17. Long attended Michael Knighton's comedy course in Beckenham, London. At 18 she gave up stand-up whilst attending Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford, ran experimental comedy clubs, and graduated with a degree in English. As of 2014 she has performed seven solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and performed five subsequent UK tours in springs 2007, 2008 and 2009, Autumn 2010 and spring 2012. She has appeared at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (2007–10), the Adelaide Fringe Festival (2008), the New Zealand Comedy Festival (2008, 2010) and the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival (2008). Her show, Trying is Good was nominated for the Barry Award in Melbourne 2008. In 2009 she toured her show All of the Planet's Wonders, playing 14 dates during February and March. Her radio series based on the show, Josie Long: All of the Planet's Wonders was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in early 2009.

Justin Jacob Long (born June 2, 1978) is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and director known for roles in such films as Jeepers Creepers (2001), Dodgeball (2004), Accepted (2006), Live Free or Die Hard (2007), He's Just Not That Into You (2009), Drag Me to Hell (2009), Tusk (2014), Comet (2014), and The Lookalike (2014). He also appeared in the films Galaxy Quest (1999), Zack and Miri Make a Porno (2008), and Jay and Silent Bob Reboot (2019). He played Warren P. Cheswick on the NBC TV series Ed, Kevin Murphy in Netflix's adult animated sitcom F is for Family (2015–present), voiced Alvin Seville in the live-action Alvin and the Chipmunks film series, and appeared with John Hodgman in TV commercials for Apple's "Get a Mac" campaign. He hosted the Disney+ original series Shop Class. He appeared in commercials for Intel's "Go PC" campaign Long was born the middle son of three boys in Fairfield, Connecticut, to father R. James Long, a philosophy and Latin professor at Fairfield University, and mother Wendy Lesniak, a former actress who has mostly appeared on stage. His paternal grandmother was of Italian descent. Long had a "kind of conservative" Roman Catholic upbringing. His older brother, Damian, is a local stage actor, teacher, and theater director at Weston High School. Long attended Fairfield College Preparatory School, a Jesuit school, and Vassar College, where he was a member of the sketch comedy group Laughingstock and starred in several plays, including Butterflies Are Free.
