JIM GAFFIGAN
James Christopher Gaffigan (born July 7, 1966) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer and producer. He was raised in Chesterton, Indiana. His material is often about fatherhood, observations, laziness, and food. He is also regarded as a "clean" comic, using little profanity in his routines. He has had several successful comedy specials, including Mr. Universe, Obsessed, Cinco, and Quality Time, all of which have received Grammy nominations. His memoir, Dad Is Fat (2013) and his most recent book, Food: A Love Story (2014), are both published by Crown Publishers. He co-created and starred in a TV Land television series based on his life called The Jim Gaffigan Show. He collaborates extensively with his wife, actress Jeannie Gaffigan, and together they have five children. They are Catholic, a topic that frequently comes up in his comedy shows, and he and his family currently live in Manhattan, New York City. Gaffigan was born on July 7, 1966 in Elgin, Illinois, the son of Marcia Miriam (Mitchell) and Michael Ambrose Gaffigan. Gaffigan is of Irish descent; the family surname was spelled Gavahan several generations back. His maternal grandfather was Iowa Supreme Court Justice Richard F. Mitchell. He grew up in Chesterton, Indiana, the youngest of six children, and often jokes about growing up in a large family. His mother Marcia was a charity worker and fundraiser; she was also accomplished at needlework, for which she received a national award for original design and craftsmanship from the American Needlepoint Guild in 1985. She died of cancer in 1990, aged 53.

Maureen E. Gaffney (born November 5, 1958 in San Diego, California) is an American actress, comedian, writer and activist. Gaffney hosted two of her own television talk shows: Women Aloud! (which was shown on the Comedy Central network) and The Mo Show. She and friend Kathy Najimy wrote and starred in two Off-Broadway shows, The Kathy and Mo Show: Parallel Lives (1989) and The Kathy and Mo Show: The Dark Side, both of which won Obie Awards. She appeared in Seasons 4 and 5 of That '70s Show as Joanne Stupak, Bob Pinciotti's girlfriend, had a recurring role in Mad About You and guest starred in Friends. In addition, she appeared in the black comedy about beauty pageants, Drop Dead Gorgeous. Gaffney appeared on the British television talk show The Full Wax starring Ruby Wax, in which she portrayed American correspondent "Taffy Turner", in the recurring segment "Taffy Turner: Inside America". Gaffney teamed up with Jennifer Saunders in a recurring role as Bo in the sitcom Absolutely Fabulous; in 2004, talks of a spin-off show began but nothing surfaced. She is co-host of the "Women Aloud" radio program on Greenstone Media.
