JASON BYRNE
Jason Byrne (born 25 February 1972) is an Irish children's novelist and comedian. He is best known for writing The Accidental Adventures of Onion O'Brien, a series of books about a young boy growing up in Ireland who has the misfortune of thousands bestowed upon him. The book reflects on Byrne's own childhood. In August 2008, he made his twelfth Edinburgh Festival Fringe appearance. Byrne previously presented a mid-morning radio show on Phantom FM as well as a comedy chat show The Jason Byrne Show featuring P. J. Gallagher, and a comedy panel show called The Byrne Ultimatum on RTÉ Two. He created and starred in a radio show also called The Jason Byrne Show from 2010 to 2012 on BBC Radio 2. The second series was awarded a Gold Sony Radio Award for Best Comedy. In September 2017, he avoided a driving ban after he pleaded guilty to driving without insurance and driving without a driving licence. Byrne was driving without a licence as he has been disqualified for accumulating 13 penalty points for speeding offences. Byrne was born in Dublin, in the suburb of Ballinteer. Byrne was married to Brenda from 2004 until 2018 and has 2 children.

Steve Byrne (born July 21, 1974) is an American stand-up comedian and actor. He is best known for creating and starring in Sullivan & Son. Steve Byrne was born in Freehold, New Jersey. Byrne grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and went to Hampton High School. He graduated from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. He is of Irish and Korean descent. Steve has a younger brother, William Byrne. Byrne is married and has two children. He is best known from his multiple stand up comedy hour specials, creating, writing and starring in Sullivan & Son and as the writer/director of the feature film The Opening Act. He's recognized as the front man for the international boy band, Sausage Party. His favorite food is his grandmother's bibimbap recipe. Byrne studied theatre at Kent State University. He was exposed to stand up comedy by working at the comedy club Caroline's in New York City. The first time he ever got on stage was at Stand Up New York on September 30, 1997. Steve Byrne spent the early part of 2018 directing a documentary about Las Vegas headliner, magician and comedian The Amazing Johnathan, entitled "Always Amazing". The documentary won best documentary film at the Sydney Lift Off Festival, Special Mention at Los Angeles Lift Off Festival, and was screened at Hollywood Now Festival, All Things Comedy Festival and Vancouver Just for Laughs Film Festival. Always Amazing will be released in 2019.
