NEGIN FARSAD
Negin Farsad (born 1978) is an American comedian, actress, writer, and filmmaker of Iranian descent based in New York City. Farsad was born in 1978 in New Haven, Connecticut to an Iranian American Muslim family, and she was raised in the Southern California resort community of Palm Springs. With aspirations for a career in politics, she attended Cornell University in upstate New York and majored in government, as well as theater arts. She moved to New York City to attend Columbia University for grad school, earning a master's degrees in race relations, and one from the School of International and Public Affairs with an emphasis on urban management. She began working for New York City as a policy advisor to the New York City Campaign Finance Board. After more than a year in her role as a policy advisor, Farsad decided to leave her job with the city and pursue a career in comedy. She created her own production company, Vaguely Qualified Productions and committed herself full-time to her creative endeavors. Her comedy routines often feature her views on politics, sex and her experiences navigating the cultural dynamics of her Iranian-born family. In 2012 the Huffington Post named her on their "53 Of Our Favorite Female Comedians" article. She was also selected as a TED Fellow and gave a TED Talk in 2016 and 2017 for her work in social justice comedy. Farsad has performed for national and international audiences. In 2012, she was recognized by The Huffington Post as one of "18 Funny Women You Should Be Following on Twitter". Her solo show Bootleg Islam, which she wrote and performed, appeared in the DC, Dallas, and Chicago Comedy Festivals among others. Her first ever musical, The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict: A Romantic Comedy, premiered at the New York International Fringe Festival.

MITCH FATEL
Mitch Fatel (born December 20, 1968 Mitch Faytel in in Manhattan) is a stand-up comedian. He was raised in Yonkers, New York and began doing stand-up at the age of 15. In 1988 Fatel attended NYU/Tisch School of the Arts and majored in Film and Acting Studies. Around this time Mitch was an intern on The Howard Stern Show. When Mitch left the show he brought in a friend of his, John Melendez. John went on to take his place as intern and became known as "Stuttering John". Fatel performs regularly at the famed Comedy Cellar. He has performed on the Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Conan O'Brien and worked as a correspondent on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno covering major sporting events and conventions. In 2004, he released his first CD entitled Miniskirts and Muffins which debuted number one on the iTunes Comedy Charts. In 2006 he took home honors as "Best Comedian" at the HBO Aspen Comedy Festival. His first half-hour special aired on April 10, 2007 at 10PM on Comedy Central Presents which was ranked number 6 by viewers in the "Stand Up Showdown". Tracks from his CDs are often heard on XM Comedy 150 on XM Satellite Radio on Sirius Satellite Radio's Raw Dog Comedy 104 and on Pandora Radio.
