JIMMY CARR
James Anthony Patrick Carr (born 15 September 1972) is an English comedian, writer and television presenter. He is known for his dark humour, distinctive laugh, and heckler interaction. After working as a marketing executive, Carr moved to a career in comedy in 2000. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest comedians in British history. After becoming established as a stand-up comedian, Carr began to appear in a number of Channel 4 television shows, becoming the host of the panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and also The Big Fat Quiz of the Year, a comedy panel show that airs each December to review the past year. Carr was born on 15 September 1972 in Hounslow, London, England, the sec born to Patrick James "Jim" Carr (born 1945), an accountant who became the treasurer for computer company Unisys, and Nora Mary (née Lawlor; 19 September 1943 – 7 September 2001). His Irish parents were married in 1970 and separated in 1994, but never divorced. Carr spent most of his early life in the village of Farnham Common, South Buckinghamshire, where he attended Farnham Common School, followed by Burnham Grammar School. He completed sixth form at the Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe, where he says his academic potential was identified and nurtured.

James Eugene Carrey (born 17 January 1962) is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, writer, producer, and artist. Known for his energetic slapstick performances, Carrey first gained recognition in 1990, after landing a recurring role in the American sketch comedy television series In Living Color (1990–1994). He broke out as star in motion pictures with Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Mask and Dumb and Dumber (all 1994). This was followed up with Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995), Batman Forever (1995), and Liar Liar (1997). In the 2000s, he gained further notice for his portrayal of the Grinch in How the Grinch Stole Christmas and for the comedy Me, Myself & Irene (both in 2000), as well as Bruce Almighty (2003), Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004), Fun with Dick and Jane (2005), Yes Man (2008), Horton Hears a Who! (2008), and A Christmas Carol (2009). In the 2010s, Carrey appeared in the films Mr. Popper's Penguins (2011), The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2013), Kick-Ass 2 (2013), Dumb and Dumber To (2014) and portrayed Leap Day William in the sitcom 30 Rock (2012). In 2020, he portrayed Dr. Robotnik in Sonic the Hedgehog and Joe Biden in six episodes of Saturday Night Live in the leadup to the 2020 United States presidential election.
