"Bartholomew Trask (Earth-9602)" VS "Bartin Culp (Earth-4096)"

At a convention of marshals and sheriffs, Marshal "Bat" Trask, the self-proclaimed "foremost malform hunter this side of Little Rock, Arkansas", unveiled his newly created robotic Razormen to an unsuspecting crowd. When the band of malform outlaws known as Generation Hex attempted to rob a mail train, Trask was waiting for them on board the train with his Razormen hidden in the boxcars. Hoping for a malform-free West, Trask sent his Razormen after Generation Hex to hunt down and destroy the malforms. What Masrhal Trask did not know or perhaps knew only on a subconscious level was that the genius that enabled him to design the Razormen came from a subtle mutation of his own brain. The Razormen relentlessly pursued Generation Hex for days. But before the robots were able to destroy their targets, Generation Hex tricked the Razormen into slaughtering the non-malform inhabitants of the town of Humanity instead.

Not much is known of the past of Bartin Culp of Earth-4096. In the year 2300 AD, he was a member of the Space Rangers a group of law enforcement officers that defended outer space. He earned the nickname "Nibbs" and he was partnered with Bob Raleigh. They have had two recorded adventures together. In the first of them, they investigated a series of robberies on merchant ships. They noted that they had their supplies of Plinium stolen. This plot was carried out by Blackhawk from the asteroid near Mercury. Tracking the thefts to that location, the Space Rangers investigated the place and were captured. They broke free with the help of Blackhawk's daughter Alyse, and destroyed Blackhawk's ship, killing him[2]. In their second adventure, following the disappearance of a series of experimental ships, the Space Rangers were sent in to investigate. They were captured by Carl Formes of the planet Glakor. They were tossed into the pit of a dragon, but managed to break free and slay the creature. They destroyed the device that Formes has used to capture the ships, but their enemy locked himself up in a safe room that has enough supplies to keep him alive for a year. With no way of getting at their enemy, the Rangers found a stockpile of explosives and set them to go off, destroying the entire planet
