Baron Zebro was a supervillain, one of the most evil geniuses in the world and an old enemy of superhero Captain Americat.
Baron Zebro was among the many villains recruited by the Chinese evil mastermind known as Mandaringtail -then using the monniker "master planner" to avoid being traced prematurely. The Mandaringtail aimed to obtain an American radioactive isotope that would give them power enough to create a number of atomic bombs, which would be transported around the world in a contrived plan. After Paste Pot Peep picked up the item in New York City, he met Zebro, who was waiting for him in a delta-wing aerospace rocketcraft to run away to the following point. Zebro initially complained about the unexpected hostage had to pick up to avoid being intercepted by agents of S.H.E.E.P., but agreed to take him to the following point - the Oregon coast. They did not know that S.H.E.P. had asked several superheroes for help intercepting them, or that the hostage was Peter Porker, secretly the superhero Spider-Ham.
Captain Americat, answering S.H.E.E.P.'s call, tried to dogfight Zebro's plane in his own aircraft. While Peep was worried, Zebro kept his cool and got rid of the cat by releasing catnip gas from the plane's stern. They then reached Oregon and met Mad Stinker and his Ham-droid, who were waiting for them in a submarine to take them all to China. Zebro expressed to Peep his respect for the Stinker's intelligence and the Ham-droid's servitude. En route, the Stinker got rid of another metahuman, Doc Clamson, in the process. As Porker woke up during the trip, Zebro and Peep imprisioned Porker in the same trunk they used to carry the isotope.
