"Albert (Earth-5211)" VS "Albert DeVoor (Earth-616)"
Albert (Earth-5211)
The Timebroker gathered multiple teams – each full of Wolverines - to finish the repairing of the broken realities. The last team he gathered consisted of a version of Albert and Elsie-Dee from Earth-5211. The team's first mission was to kill Brother Mutant, an evil Magneto (female) who melded with his world's Wolverine, Quicksilver (female), Scarlet Warlock (male Scarlet Witch), and Mesmero (female), and had already captured (and manipulated) dozens of Wolverines from the previous teams. When they arrived they were ambushed immediately and both of them were captured, as well as two of their teammates. Albert was badly damaged after fighting an army of Wolverines. Patch, an alternate Wolverine with an eye-patch, attacked and appeared to kill Albert while Elsie-Dee escaped with the head of Zombie Wolverine. Patch caught up with them but was killed by Sabretooth from the Exiles.

Albert DeVoor (Earth-616)
Albert DeVoor first appeared as a business representative for Interlocking Technologies, buying the Fantastic Four from Reed Richards when they were running low on money. However, this was merely a part of a larger scheme by Arkon which involved pitting the armies of three worlds (Earth-616, Earth-A and the Fifth Dimension) against each other. DeVoor later created a business model with his Earth-A counterpart for exotic tourism. People from his counterpart's reality would pay to visit the "World of Marvels" of Earth-616, since super-beings were virtually unheard of where they came from. Some lucky tourists also received super-powers upon traveling to Earth-616, if their 616 counterparts had powers to begin with. This led to a series of mishaps involving Earth-A doppelgangers acting out of character in Earth-616.
