Separamadu Lasith Malinga (born 28 August 1983) is a Sri Lankan cricketer and current T20 international captain of Sri Lanka. He captained the Sri Lankan 2014 T20 World Cup winning side. He is a right-arm fast bowler that is commonly used as a specialist death bowler, and is well known for his distinctive round-arm action, sometimes referred to as a sling action, which leads to his nicknames, 'Slinga Malinga'. Malinga took a hat-trick to become the first bowler to claim two T20I hat-tricks, and four wickets with four balls, He also became the first bowler to take five hat-tricks across all formats of international cricket and thus holds the record for producing most number of hat-tricks in international cricket.

Vangipurapu Venkata Sai Laxman (pronunciation ; born 1 November 1974), known as VVS Laxman, is a former Indian international cricketer and a current cricket commentator and pundit. A right-hand batsman known for his elegant stroke play, Laxman played as a middle-order batsman in Test cricket. Laxman is one of the few players to have played 100 Test matches, without ever appearing in a One-Day Cricket World Cup. Despite being a relatively slow runner between the wickets, Laxman compensated with his stroke play and fast scoring. In 2002, he was named one of Wisden's five Cricketers of the Year. In domestic cricket, Laxman represented Hyderabad. He also played for Lancashire in county cricket.
