A DOHC, 32-valve, 5.7-liter all-aluminum V8 was exotic stuff in 1990. And 375 hp was awesome. The first Corvette to really take on and outrun Europe's best.
It was just a Le Mans with a big 389 V8 under its hood, some fancy redecoration on its flanks and a name stolen from Ferrari. It was the first of the muscle cars.
