Japanese Anime One Piece characters: "Edward Newgate" VS "Edward Weevil"
Edward Newgate
Edward Newgate,[13] more commonly known as "Whitebeard", was the captain of the Whitebeard Pirates and widely known as the "Strongest Man in the World" and the "Man Closest to One Piece" after Gol D. Roger's death.[8] Before forming his own crew, he was a member of the legendary Rocks Pirates and later in life he became a member of the Four Emperors that rule over the New World,[4][5] before his death in the Summit War of Marineford.[6] In his prime, Whitebeard was a rival to Gol D. Roger, and following Roger's death, was widely recognized as the strongest man in the world, a fact complimented by having the highest active bounty whilst alive, and the second highest bounty of any pirate in history. In his younger days, he wore an open dark gray vest and a black bandanna, and his trademark mustache was nonexistent.[14] Later in his life, he grew the prominent crescent-shaped mustache, which would spawn his epithet, "Whitebeard". When he was 52, he wore a white and yellow pirate hat with his jolly roger on it over a black bandana with black and red, both worn over long, blond flowing hair he had back then.

Edward Weevil
Edward Weevil,[6] or "Whitebeard Jr.", is a pirate acting as the self-proclaimed son of Edward "Whitebeard" Newgate, and is the son of Miss Bakkin, the self-proclaimed lover of Newgate.[1] He served as one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, whom he joined sometime during the two-year timeskip,[2] and did so until the Warlords' dissolution.[3] Weevil was first mentioned by Marine commodore Brannew in a discussion of the current Warlord ranks to several high-ranking Marine officers, but was not explicitly named until after Donquixote Doflamingo's defeat. Weevil has a stocky figure, with prominent scars going down his left eye, across his neck and around his left arm. He has bushy blond hair with two braids coming down either side of his face and similar to his self-proclaimed father, has a black bandanna and white crescent-shaped mustache which is even larger than Edward Newgate's. His legs are disproportionately small for his build and his nose also appears to be perpetually runny, evocative of his simple-minded nature. He wears overalls that are hung by chains rather than straps and bear his personal jolly roger on them.
