Best reggaeton duo
Wisin & Yandel
Wisin & Yandel is a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo consisting of Wisin and Yandel. They started their career in the late 1990s and have been together since, winning several awards including a Grammy Award in 2009. They became the first and the only reggaeton artists to win one. In late 2013, they announced they would take a pause in their career as a duo, after their Líderes tour.[1][2] In a 2014 interview with People en Español, Yandel confirmed that the group would not be disbanding.[3] In February 2018, following a 5-year hiatus, the duo announced they would be reuniting, and are set to embark on a world tour, as well as release new music. In 1998, Wisin & Yandel participated in the album No Fear 3, produced by DJ Dicky as well as on the compilation album La Misión Vol. 1, edited by the Fresh Productions label. The success of this collection (which was certified gold) led the label to produce Los Reyes del Nuevo Milenio, the first album by Wisin & Yandel. From that moment the duo started a successful career. They continued posting new topics in the successive editions of La Misión and recorded three new albums: De Nuevos a Viejos (2001), Mi Vida... My Life (2003) and De Otra Manera (2004), all of which were certified gold. The duo also received the Tu Música Award for Best Rap/Reggaeton Duo in 2002. In 2004, the duo released two separate solo efforts: El Sobreviviente by Wisin and Quien Contra Mí by Yandel, which sparked speculation about a possible separation. Sales of the albums were unimpressive, and the duo remained together.

Zion & Lennox
Zion & Lennox are a reggaeton music duo from Carolina, Puerto Rico. In 2004, Zion & Lennox released their first studio album titled Motivando A La Yal under White Lion Records. After their first album , Zion & Lennox decided to start their own label, Baby Records Inc. The duo is made up of Félix Ortiz (Zion) and Gabriel Pizarro (Lennox). Félix Ortiz Torres and Gabriel Pizarro were born in Carolina, Puerto Rico. They met in 1992, while living in the same neighborhood and having common interests in reggaeton.[1] Their common taste for music quickly became a serious passion and a reason to work together and thoroughly in the reggaetón genre, once Lennox's brother, whose nickname was Mackie, invited them to officially sing a theme in 2001, though they had already been a duo since 2000.[2] While Zion & Lennox developed a deep interest in the new genre during that time, their focus was distinct from the most typical themes within the underground scene, in what they currently refer to as «the commercial touch» that reggaeton did not possess, that is, the kind of lyrics far from violence and sex.[2] Since then they had been very popular within the underground scene, until they came to have their first great opportunity in the 2003 compilation album Desafío by the producers Luny Tunes together with Noriega.[3] Both have relatives who are prominent singers in the reggaeton genre. Zion is the first cousin of chorus singer Jory Boy, who was part of the Nova & Jory duo,[4] while Lennox is the brother of Luis Pizarro, better known as Mackie Ranks, of the former reggaeton duo Yaga y Mackie.
