Dianella White Eagles SC vs Dingley Stars FC
Dianella White Eagles SC
Dianella White Eagles SC is an Australian soccer club based in Perth, Western Australia which was established by the local Serbian Australian community. The team was formed under the name of Dianella Serbia in 1978, with the name changed to the current one in the 1990s to reduce the ethnic tension between former Yugoslav clubs, due to the outbreak of the Yugoslav War. In recent times, the club has seen a major influx of players and personnel who were refugees of the Yugoslav War, mainly from the Krajina region in Croatia, and from Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The club has had some success winning the Division 1 title in 1993 sending them into the state's top division for a brief stint. The club has since spent its time in Division 1 coming close to winning the league in 2013 and 2017; they are competing in the State League Division 2 in the 2020 season.
