Nothing is known about Ms. Summers, save that she is a young mutant woman whom Bushwacker was contracted to kill by the Marauders. Bushwacker broke into her house and did so. Wolverine found her body and swore vengeance on Bushwacker. Summers was known to be a mutant, though her exact power is unrevealed. Given that the Marauders hired Bushwacker to specifically kill mutant creative geniuses, however, she likely had some sort of superhuman artistic insight.
A.J. Raffles was an expert safe cracker originally from the United Kingdom. He was arrested for his crimes and after serving his time reformed and immigrated to the United States to start a new life as a simple farmer. During this time he befriended the super hero known as the Whizzer.
In the spring of 1943, Raffles used his criminals skills in an unexpected way when the Whizzer asked him to use his safe cracking abilities to save the lives of two bank managers trapped in a vault following a robbery. While the Whizzer rounded up the crooks, Raffles successfully cracked the safe saving the lives of the bank managers before they could suffocate. Raffles was hailed a hero, and promised to continue pledging his life to lawfulness.
