A-Wet-man (Earth-9047) VS A.C. O'Connor (Earth-616)

A-Wet-man (Earth-9047)
A member of the Just-A-League with apparently water-based supowers, A-Wet-man was married, but his wife was crazy.[2] When the Just-A-League was manipulated by Kranky, master of time, Leaks Luthor and the Jokester to fight against the Revengers, A-Wet-man confronted Silas Mariner but, instead of fighting, they chatted civilizedly while having tea. They later joined an all-out fight, because it was good for sales.[2] Obnoxio the Clown included a mannekin of A-Wet-man, then known as Akwa-Man, in his "House of Whacks". Due to Pup-Pepest Mister's radioactive marmalade and Doctor Dumb's animation gas, the mannekins were animated and fought each other, with Akwa-Man again fighting Silas Mariner, then known as Nabob the Sunk-Mariner. Obnoxio used hot water and air-wick to stop that effect, so that all the mannekins stopped moving.

A.C. O'Connor (Earth-616)
A.C. "Ace" O'Connor was a reporter who got involved in the mysterious robot serial killer story surrounding Rom, Spaceknight. Unknown to the world at large, Rom was actually a heroic figure eliminating evil aliens called Dire Wraiths who had infiltrated the Earth using their shape-changing powers. To human eyes, Rom was killing random people with a ray gun, reducing them to ash. In fact, Rom's Neutralizer was banishing the Dire Wraiths to Limbo. [1] Ace was tipped off at first by the fact that all the "victims" of the robot killer in Clairton, West Virginia all shared the same birthdate. Ace's investigation brought her to the government program Project: Safeguard where she managed to capture Rom's Neutralizer in action on film. Upon developing her photos, she discovered the camera was able to capture what the human eye could not, showing an alien creature disappearing into Limbo instead of the "murder" of a human being.
