An extraterrestrial compulsive gambler, A'Sai came into possession of a weapon that belonged to Galactus and accepted a wager from his friend Grunz that he could abduct the Watcher. After managing to win the bet, A'Sai bets even with the Watcher himself on a football game where was attending Spider-Man and lost the bet and as a compensation Uatu transformed A'Sai in the card of the Joker in a Las Vegas casino. Aamir Khan shared a similar history to his Earth-616 counterpart until the early days of the Avengers. After the death of his mother, Muneeba Khan, he and Yusuf visited her grave where they ran into a time travelling Kamala Khan.
